I used four skeins for the body of this blanket. When I finished the body, I did one row of single crochet around the edges, followed by one row of single crochet in “pink” yarn, followed by another row of single crochet. I then did a eyelet row (for the ribbon), followed by single crochet row, before starting the ruffled edging. I made up the pattern for the ruffled edging. It took almost two skeins of yarn for the ruffles.
