My husband just ordered the Boyland Knitworks Time Trade Kit #5 as a Christmas present for me. The three different yarns listed above were included in the kit. I’ll put it under the Christmas tree and not start on it until after the holidays. Excited!

4/23/19: Finished all charts and pattern sections as written. I’m now figuring out how to repeat a section or two to make the shawl longer as I have lots of leftover yarn…

Update: In order to add length to the shawl and keep the pattern in sequence, I did an extra row of Row 2 at the end of Section 7, Chart 3. I then began Chart 2, beginning with row 1 of Chart 2. Further adjustments were needed to begin Chart 3 since I did not have enough yarn to do multiple rows of the knit rows. For the bind off, I did the lace or Russian bind off which worked great for the scalloped edge.

I’m not a big fan of asymmetrical design. I loved working the lace pattern rows but the other rows of knit or purl were not fun.
