Used 3.00 mm for cast on

Bought yarn from Ysolda at the Edinburgh Yarn Festival

This yarn is wonderful to knit with but … It knitted up tight and once blocked it just completely relaxed.

So … I just picked up stitches along the cast on edge. I picked 2 stitches and then skipped one stitch continue all the way around the edge. I knitted 1 round, purl the next, knitted the next, purl the next, cast off in knit stitch manner.

This is by far my favorite hat for myself. I don’t care that the yarn relaxed. It fits beautifully! It’s my go to hat everyday!
