Trust what the pattern says. Every comment I read on Ravelry said to trust the directions/pattern and they were right! The pocket construction seemed weird but I used life lines so that I could back up to that point in case what I was doing was wrong.

Since I have a garment sewing background this helped with the construction of the pockets. The pictures did help.

I really like the I-cord bind off. Nice finish.
