I did the recommended edging around the neck and armholes that the pattern suggested. I did try to do an I-cord as I love the way I-cords look but on this pattern it was too thick and bulky.

Also the pattern suggests to do the edging while in pieces, I would actually seam the seams and then pick up the recommended stitches with a set of DPN’s, purl one round and then bind off. I just had a lot of ends to weave in and this would have minimized all that weaving.

BUT block the pieces first before the seaming as stated in the pattern!

I also had trouble reaching gauge. I actually followed the small size and used this as the conversion to reach my size:
