Notes

July 1, 2012:

I got 5 skeins because I always buy one extra skein! I am glad I did because I needed a few more yards for I-cord to go around the sleeves. I had enough for the bottom’s I-cord and the neck’s I-cord but not enough for the sleeves.

But I read other Raverly user’s comments and they said that they had more than enough. So my recommendation is that some of the length can be shorten to stay at the 4 skeins requirements. I hope this helps.

The way I look at it is I have almost a whole skein to knit something else :)

June 27, 2012:

I am finally on the neck shaping.
It’s a lot of knitting!!! It seems that I knit and knit before even seeing any results!
My daughter said this to me a few days ago: “You are still working on that??? You’re not done yet? What is taking so long???” Exactly!!!

Lesson learned: read directions all the way through:

If I did the provisional cast on I could have gone back and did an i-cord on the edge. Now I am applying afterwards; here’s a helpful applied i-cord link:
