Summer 2018 is shaping up to be a scorcher – so our Summer 2018 KAL is the Coming In Hot by Cally Monster! This fun wrap utilizes Faux Brioche, color contrasting and a purled i-cord bind-off. We have once again partnered with Cally Monster and BAAH! Yarns to offer a few exciting color combo’s. We are also happy to help you stash dive to build your own combo. In the first KAL meeting K.T. will review the pattern lay-out and the stitch techniques in the pattern. The second meeting will be to review any issues, questions or demo refresher….as well as see everyone’s hotness!

The pattern calls for three contrasting colors of fingering weight yarn, solids, semi-solids, speckled or strongly variegated all work – the key is in the contrast. The kitted suggestions all include the three colors, 2 versions with bright colors and variegated components and a quieter version in just solids.

K.T. will be teaching this KAL. Class materials include the Coming in Hot pattern, a summary of the skills and Mom’s light refreshments!

Skills required:

• cast on, bind-off
• knit and purl
• using more than one yarn at a time

Materials for workshop:

• 400 yards each of three colors fingering weight yarn
• #3 32” or longer needle

• 6 32” or longer needle

• #7 32” or longer needle (for bind-off only)
• ring markers
