11/22 Decided on sewing on a felt star, he likes them!

11/9 Got a couple inches into the body of the mitten and started the stranded colorwork, didn’t like it and pulled everything out to start over. Now I’m thinking I might sew a felt star to the finished mittens and wait until later to learn stranded colorwork; teaching myself on a pattern I designed might not be the easiest thing to do.

11/2 My partner never asks me to make him anything, and isn’t very helpful when I want to make him something, so when he asked if I’d make him Red Star Mittens for this winter I said yes! This is going to be my first colorwork project and I’m still mentally working my way through how to do it before casting on.
