So much short row practice for my shawl collared sweater! Obviously I did not read the directions that said “wraps don’t need to be picked up.” Which is fine, because it lead to me finding these shadow wraps from socktopus.

This is also the first project I’ve made with Cascade 220. I was hoping for something a little softer, but the cowl felt fine after a soak and block, and will be so warm, 100% wool and all. In the two skeins I used there was only one break.

The birthday recipient was so happy with it (much more happy than that first picture might make you think, I caught them texting)! This is a fantastic pattern and I would love to make one for myself sometime, maybe in coral and cream?
