Notes

July 19 - Added pom-pom and tassels!

July 18 - Cast off second ear flap this morning! I worked the ear flaps over 23 stitches, picked up three away from curled part of brim. Worked straight for 3.5”, did three sets of short row shaping (should have stuck with two, the curl is a little too enthusiastic) then started matched decreases on right side. When I had 15 stitches left I started decreasing on the right and wrong side until I had 5 stitches left, then I cast those five off.

July 12 - After a false start, cast on 96 stitches. K1P1 ribbing did not look right when I tried it yesterday. Ribbing like so: K30 * P2 K2 * until last two stitches, P2.

July 11 - Swatched while watching Serenity. Got 5.5st/1” on size 6 needle. Will cast on 94 stitches with 31 in stst at beginning.
