Notes

care: hand wash, dry flat

This was a quick and fun knit which I knitted in-between other projects and when watching TV. The sweater is currently blocking and then all I have to do is knit a few rows onto the neckband and it will be completely finished.

I think the raised waistband in the front might take some getting used to as I already think I might find myself hauling it down further. I’m pretty sure I want to knit this sweater again in a DK weight I have in my stash, and I’d do it without the waistband shaping, so just a normal cozy sweater. I’m planning to wear this sweater at Rhinebeck!

A word about the yarn. I love it. This is the second sweater I’m knitting in Harrisville Designs worsted weight. It’s quite toothy but softens up a lot after a bath.

12/29: undid the bottom third of sweater and reknitted so no scoop in the front. I will now enjoy wearing this sweater much better.
