After only knitting the cuff it seems like this yarn is going to knit up with nice stripes which should work well with the pattern. (this is the yarn in the bottom right of the pic)

The pattern was fun for my fingers and very easily memorized. My gauge came in at 8.75 sts/in and 12 rows.

Second skein had been wound the opposite direction, so the colors would have been wrong. I started from the outside of the skein & used my ball winder to create a center pull ball that striped in the correct direction. I have lots of left over yarn, but not enough that I could have knit the pair from a single ball.
