March 15th my knitting and I had an adventure, traveling to Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch for the Luck Reunion and it was a blast. We heard a lot of music, and just had a relaxing day eating, drinking, knitting in the fresh air under the trees.

Aggressively blocking the ends to try and achieve a zigzag shaped join.

I used crochet on the right side of the knitting to join sides, to showcase the sparkly contrast yarn. I think it worked well.

I debated another blocking of just the zigzag to make it even more pronounced, but I may leave it as is. I like that the movement is there, and I think it looks really neat.
