I should have taken more pictures along the way. When/If I do this again, I will make these changes:
1) Start with the heads, yes, but work from the neck up because the part of the head that shows most is the chin area and that needs to look best. Add the eyes and mouth before closing off the top of the head.

2) Then add the torso of one doll and go right into the torso of the other doll attaching to the neck last of all.

3) I liked having the wig idea for the hair - so do that again.

4) Make the arms the size of the pattern rather than a little longer like I did.

5) Not so much space between the waist lines of the skirts.
