I have bits of leftover spindrift from past projects and I wanted to do some easy colorwork. Mods include narrower cast on 96 for ribbing then inc to 98 stitches, making a long scarf instead of a cowl beacause thats what I prefer.It will basically be one long tube I can wrap around my neck. 20 rows of ribbing. I’m doing the charts included in the pattern but also mixing in some other peerie patterns for more variety. Its mostly spindrift but I do have bits of brooklyn tweed loft and finullgarn. Weaving in my ends as I go. I was spit splicing but that got old very quickly. Total length of finished blocked scarf is 70”, perfect for wrapping around once and tucking in the ends. Absolutely love the end result. Almost makes me want to knit another. Its not perfect there are about 5 or so mistakes that I could find, it happens while you’re watching tv and get distracted.. its hard to see them while you’re knitting unless its really obvious but once blocked they do pop out here and there, its ok, doesn’t bother me too much because the end result is still fun.
