11/9/09 - Finally done! Got buttons off of etsy, since getting out of the house by myself wasn’t going to happen. All the seaming, ends, buttons and loops was a bit tedious. But three pairs done for three babies!

8/16/09 - Need to find some yarn. 2 colors in fingering weight, using 2.5 mm needles (us size 1.5) in 7 spi, 8 garter ridges per inch. Something like rowan cashcotton 4ply.
8/24/09 - slightly heavier yarn so guage probably bigger than pattern calls for and making the smaller sizes so should even out more or less…

Couldn’t figure out the cast on for the right strap so did a knitted one. A bit gapey where it joins the body of the shoe, so will have to try to tighten that in future versions. All done with one shoe except the seaming and button sewing! Will try a crochet chained button loop so need to figure out how to do that.
