The star squares were coming out rectangular, so I added 4 rows in the middle of the star to make it a little bigger…now squares measuring 5.25” sq.
Need 16 stars, 16 hearts, 7 snowflakes, 6 reindeer, 6 trees, 6 snowmen, 6 birds for throw-63=9x7

Each square measures approximately
12 x 12cm/4 3/4 x 4 3/4in.
Baby Blanket of 40 squares will measure approximately 60 x 96cm/23 1/4 x 37 3/4in.
Throw of 60 squares will measure approximately 72 x 120cm/28 1/4 x 47 1/4in.

Used both glitter red and burgundy for duplicate stitch blocks, making half of each motif in 1 yarn.
Used snowman (like LesleyP) and bird motifs (like limegreenas) as well as ones in pattern.
Working on the border.
After joining all blocks, then 1 row white sc, 1 row, burgundy granny stitch, 1 row glitter red granny, 1 row burgundy granny, 1 row white sc.
Now knitting on a lace border, patterned after limegreenas

Finished! The points of my edging curls forward…I’m going to try steam block to reshape/release the yarn…hope it helps it to lay flat…
Then I will wash
