I started improvising a design a long time ago, but put it off. I then ended up frogging the first design, and started again. The recent cold weather demanded I get these mittens finished.

I wanted a lengthy cuff and a snug fit and these have both. With the picot-edged cuff, all the twists and the diamond texture, i thought these looked sort of jester- or harlequin-ish, thus the name.

Skein Queen makes beautiful yarn. I’ll enjoy wearing these.
