After a too long hiatus from knitting, this was the perfect project to get my motor running again. Well written, interesting, yet easy -- Thank you tincanknits, for a great pattern. I knit this mostly on my train commute home.

I am not sure why I decided to knit the small; medium would have been the logical choice for me. That said, it fits, but in a snugger manner than I think the designer intended… but I like it.

Mods to sleeves: When picking up for the sleeves, rather than picking up 10 to have 63, I instead picked up 13 to have 66 for the medium sized sleeves. I knitted 11 inches (80 rows) before decreasing, and as I chose to make 3/4 sleeves, I decreased every third row until I had 52 stitches. At this point, the sleeve was 15 inches, and I started the set up row for the garter edge from there. (I have rather long arms.)

It’s a great stretchy bind off that pairs well with the garter stitch.
