Notes

This is one of my favorite sweaters ever. I wear my longer version all. the. time. and I have been wanting a cropped version forever! Finally I went for it after finding the perfect yarn at BMYS. I love the linen content of this yarn, it provides a great level of drape but still holds shape.

This original design was my first go at top-down set-in seamless sleeves and it was also the beginning of my total love affair with this construction style. It is so flattering on everyone. As a designer, I love how this construction provides the ultimate flexibility in being able to provide beautifully tailored shoulders and a perfect neckline without sacrificing the fit elsewhere.

I love the delicate lace within the a-line shaping, but I’ve also seen this sweater knit with single eyelets instead of the pointelle and it’s also super cute! This sweater is all about fit, texture & details and I’m so happy I had a chance to update it with even more sizes and options.

I’ve been wearing this sweater OUT since I finished it. It looks so great with dresses or with a longer layer below it and jeans. It’s a total dress it up or dress it down opportunity!

ALL MY LOVE to this design and for finding a perfect new yarn match to feature two_heartsyarn
