I made this dog for one of my best friends as a birthday present. This was my first try at amigurumi dogs (yes, it doesn’t stand up by itself, lol), but I really loved the presentation of the dogs in the book Ami Ami Dogs, and Hoshi’s patterns are pretty easy to follow once you have an understanding of how to do amigurumi. The tutorial in the back of the book was really helpful, and Hoshi’s patterns are written with a chart and a table that tells you the amount of stitches you need to end up with per round. I highly recommend this book!
