Finally decided to consider this more of a small blanket than an actual shawl (thanks Xana!), and that made a lot more sense for me and helped me continue. I continued to knit until I only had about 30 grams of yarn left, making it as big as possible. Also, this way it doesn’t need a fancy edging, just some garter stitch (knit 1 round, purl 1 round). Weighed my yarn before and after a complete round: 1 row is aprox. 2,1 grams. I think I got 7 or 8 garter ridges.
Managed to only have 1,6 grams leftover after bind-off :D

Having trouble picking an edging that fits what I have in mind AND actually looks good AND doesn’t put my brain in a knot while trying to decipher, hmm, “vintage” directions. I’m on my 3rd or 4th try.

Did the whole “body” of the shawl during our Knit Camp journey. Thank God I had it with me when we got stranded on the airport on the way back, for more than 12 hours. It was a sanity saver.
Now I’m trying to pick an edging…

Starting the simpler version, to take with me on the journey to UK Knit Camp
