Notes

I prefer to knit the blanket in cotton because it was for a summer baby.

I started to knit without knowing if i was happy of the colors or not…
The colors in line seemed really great but with the pattern i was not so sure.
I convinced myself that it will be ok and the mum would like it so i knitted on.
When with a lot of luck i found this madras fabric (with the exact same colors, yellow, orange, red, green bright and dark, turquoise and purple!), i knew the blanket was ok.

The parents of Paul coming back from Haïti for his birth was really happy to see the bright colors and the madras wich reminded them of the caribean… =)

So know my sister thinks that finishing a blanket with fabric is really great and give a nice touch. I have now to do the same for a blanket i knitted 2 years ago for her son. =)

PS: I was lucky my mum helped me to sew the fabric to the blanket… =)
