I’ve my eye on this pattern and my eye on this yarn for a while. Both are made in New Zealand so it’s meant to be.

The yarn is deliciously soft and a lovely semi-solid brown-grey colour - truly button mushroom :)

Loving the pattern so far and like it says, it’s super for TV knitting, or knitting to chat with…

Mr Myrtle feet measure 10 1/2 - 11” round and are bigger than the pattern’s largest size. So, I’ve cast on with a 2.5mm needle and gone up to a 2.75mm to make the socks that wee bit bigger. I thought about adding an extra repeat, but it’s a ten stitch repeat and I didn’t think he needed a whole 10 extra stitches :) Seems to fit okay so far. UPDATE: Sarah has added a larger size to her pattern now. “Man Size” :)

One sock done. The other underway. I’ll get there - this WIP has turned into my “between Outfit” knitting… just gets a wee bit a month.

Yay! Finished - these lovely socks flew off the needles when I picked them up again.
