7/30/12 ~ it’s finished!!! ::does happy dance:: (of course, i probably won’t be wearing it until the fall, but…..)
7/29/12 ~ finally the end is in sight….. this last row of black trim (2 tc, ch 2, 2 tc in each previous tc) is just killing me. i keep having to fight off sleep, believe it or not. but i’m finally coming back around to the first stitch again!
7/24/12 ~ i had enough yarn in the Pagoda color to go all the way around! and i started the black trim last night as well.
7/23/12 ~ finished the left sleeve, and decided to do that last row i wanted to do round the body. it’s sold tcs, and i may even have to buy another skein of yarn! o_O
7/22/12 ~ finished the final round on the body (it was only the half round, not the additional full one, and it looks pretty good. i got the right sleeve cuff/trim/ruffle done, and my plan is to finish the cuff/trim/ruffle on the left sleeve and start on the final cuff/trim/ruffle of the body tonight!
--> note: tcs are a lot more time-consuming than any of the other stitches i’ve done!
7/21/12 ~ finally got back to this, what with all the amis and blankets i was making. i just have (hopefully) a round and a half left on the main body of the sweater, and then the trim - i’m using black for that part.
6/6/12 ~ i have 9 more rounds/3 more “sets” to do on the second/right sleeve. then it’s back to the body of the sweater, which may not be all that many rows/sets (a set is three rows). i think i’m going to do the edging in black.
5/26/12 ~ sweater is kinda on hold, i’ll work on it when i can….it’s now getting hot and humid, and i can’t see working on a sweater when i’m sweating. LOL. i’ll update when i pick it up again.
5/22/12 ~ finshed the main rows of the left sleeve. i’m going to do the right sleeve, then finish up the rounds o the body of the sweater before i do the edging the pattern suggests.
5/20/12 ~ i stopped working on the body of the sweater, since it can now close a little in the front now, and have started the sleeves.
5/14/12 ~ did the armholes. pretty clever!
5/11/12 ~ once i finally got this started, it was quite easy to do. i didn’t want to put it down!
