sept 2013 ~ as i was looking this pattern over to make for my mom for Chanukah, i realised one of the version has an extra wedge, so there’s 8 sections, not 7. since i like wraps to wrap around me, i’ll be reworking this to make it that version, instead of the current version it is now.

i did two more body rows before starting the edging. the first row of edging calls for an 8-stitch (+2) pattern. as it turned out, i ended up doing one pattern using 7 stitches, and had 26 shells across the edging.
