~each of the “heads” uses 5 stitches, plus a ch-1 between them. to change the length of the shawl. use multiples of 6, +5. i started out with 203 fsc sts for my first row, then ch4 to start the first row. (33x6=198, +5=203)

mods:
set-up: 203 fsc, ch 4
r5: i did 6 triples instead of 7
r6: i put the sc between trriples #3 and 4
r9: i made the 2 triples in the middle dc, sc between the two groups of 3 dcs, 2 triples in the middle dc, ch 1, and repeated in the next groups of dcs to the end
