SFS cast-on post: #248 (underappreciated pattern), bind-off post: #420

Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• cast on 74 stitches,
• cuff 12 r twisted rib modified to fit with my larger stitch count,
• leg chart r 1-14 four times + r 1-8,
• heelflap 36 r stockinet decreasing 3 st on the first r and 2 on the second, slipped first and last st on all WS r, round heel,
• picked up 21 st on each side for gussets and also moved 2 st from each side of the instep, decreased every third r until 32 st left on sole,
• foot purled last st on gusset/sole, chart r 9-14 + r 1-14 four times + r 1-10 + 2 r stockinet decreasing 1 st on instep on the last r,
• toe decreased every third r until 32 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through,
• mirrored the centred cable crossings on the second sock.
