I’m not a big fan of shadow wrap shortrows but this pattern is complex enough I don’t have the energy to reculaculate them to GSR.

After joining fronts & back 15 grams = 10 rows.

Mods

• left neck chart r 1-14 twice + r 1-11, right neck chart r 1-14 twice + r 1-12,
• back picked up 93 st along collar, decreased 28 evenly using this calculator (= 65 st), knit 12 shortrow pairs in the second section, knit armhole 73 r before decrease row, wanted decreases symmetrical so knit to 9 st before end, ssk four times + k1,
• fronts knit second shortrow section six times, armhole 73 r before decreases, 118/119 chart r total ending on r 4, worked armhole decreases on left side p1 + ssp four times,
• wanted pocket openings closer to front so placed markers 16 st from pattern markers, knit 20 r total before starting pockets (chart r 10),
• knit front pockets on separate needles, 40 st between end of pockets and pattern markers, worked decreases on right side ssk four times, CO 21 st so the inside of the pockets will reach the front pattern, put 41 st on hold for deep pockets,
• knit deep pockets 44 r using old Peony leftover + Iolite,
• knit 44 r before attatching pocket bottoms,
• started ribbed hem on first RS r after attaching pocket bottoms,
• ribbed hem 8 r & BO in pattern with same-size needles.

Timeline
2022-10-03: Finished upper back and started on fronts.
2022-10-06: Finished right front and started on left.
2022-10-10: Finished left front. Joined fronts and back.
2022-10-12: Started on pockets.
2022-10-14: Finished front pockets and started on back & back pockets.
2022-10-18: Rejoined fronts and back. Ordered more yarn.
2022-10-19: Started deep pockets.
2022-10-20: Finished deep pockets.
2022-10-28: Attached pocket bottoms and started ribbed hem.
2022-10-29: Took a break from the boring ribbing and stitched pocket sides.
2022-10-31: Finished!
