• leg r 1-24 twice + r 1-17,
• heelflap plain stockinet 32 r, slip first & last st on all WS rows, round heel,
• picked up 19(+1) st for gussets and knitted through the backloops on the next r, decreased ever third r until 42 st left on sole (not counting arch shaping), then every second r until 32 st left (ditto),
• started arch shaping on tenth r, decreasing on the sixth st from the centre on each side every sixth r three times and then increased in the same way three times,
• foot r18-24 + r 1-24 three times,
• toe decreased every second r until 24 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through.
