Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• ribbing 12 r,
• garter 5 r,
• didn’t change needles for cables,
• slip first st on r 6 & 16 of chart,
• garter 4 r,
• leg 16 repeats of broken rib sequence, followed this example and stopped last r with 1 st left,
• heel flap continued broken rib for another 17 repeats, knit first & last st on RS and slipped them on WS, decreased 3 st on first RS r, round heel, EOP during heel turn and for another 20 r + 2 pairs of shortrows over middle of sole,
• picked up 20 + 1 st for each gusset and knit through the back loop on the first r, decreased every third r until 32 st left on sole, continued to decrease every third r but now on instep until 64 st left in total,
• foot 42 repeats of broken rib sequence,
• toe decreased every third r until 36 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through.
