General
The pattern is a little wordy but otherwise okay. I really like the short rows for the neck. All ponchos and capes should have them.
The Silk Garden isn’t very nice on it’s own, a little stiff and with very varied thickness - though it never gets too thin, but together with the Mohair Haze it makes a lovely fabric. So soft and drapey.
The finished poncho/capelet is wonderful! Just the sort of thing to put on when you’re feeling a bit chilly when you’re knitting or reading.

Mods

• Gauge: 14-15st x c.17rows on 5mm
• Cast on 78 stitches, slip last stitch wyf + knit first stitch, first buttonhole on row 6 - cast off 3st - and second on row 15, knit a total of 21 rows, cast off 5st before joining.
• First marker + 15st second marker + 20st third marker + 23st. Knit 4 short rows = two for each side 6st further on. Knit increases every second round 5 more times, every third round 5 times, then every fourth round. Also did three extra increases on the front. (Back: shoulder+7st, front: shoulder+12st.)
• Using lifted increases.
• Made the bottom ribbing only 2 rows each since I was running out of mohair.
