First attempt at this hat ended in disappointment since the red yarn I used for MC turned out to to be faulty. Not onle did it bleed and turn the light grey CC pink, it also lost its own colour and became faded and blotchy. (Will contact the dyer.)

• knit 2 r before starting chart,
• knit 12 r before starting decreases,
• decreased as pattern.
