Notes

ETA 17 January 2016: I love them! Perfect for biking in this cold, the double layer keeps out even the coldest wind.

General
Very clear and detailed pattern.
Didn’t have enough of the Mohair Haze to line both mittens so had to use some Kid Silk too (doubled)
Much as I love pompoms I’m not putting any on these. They would just get in the way when Trying to stuff the mittens inside the jacket cuffs.

Mods

  • Followed this example and used on size larger needles for the thumbs since I have tendency to knit smaller things more firmly on DPNs.
  • Lining felt a little too flimsy on the same needles as the mittens so changed to one size smaller.
  • Needed 34 lining rows before thumb.
