Want a garment that allows me to use my arms more so I started the sleeves much earlier than in the pattern and consequently had to knit the body longer.

I really wish this pattern was charted. Very long written rows like this make my eyes cross!

A Carnival, B & C Cereza - despite unraveling the swatches I ran out of Carnival and had to knit the last few rows with only Cereza.

Mods

• using lifted increases instead of YO and KFB for all garter increases,
• only made 10 repeats of the shoulder increases before starting sleeves (189 st),
• knit 6 repeats of the sleeve increases (363 st),
• used provisional CO and cast on 5 st under each arm when separating sleeves and body (body 319 st), knit 3 pattern repeats for body = 343 st, then 30 centimeters without any increases - the last 10 r with Cereza only, 3- stitch i-cord bindoff with same needles but adding 1 extra r alternately after every 3 and 4 r all way around,
• sleeves picked up 2 st on each side of the provisional CO (40 st), knitting with both colours, 90 r + 7 r with Cereza only, i-cord BO as for body.

Timeline
2018-8-25: Had to start over twice because I lost my place! Charts are so much easier!
2018-08-26: My plan to close the YOs on the next r didn’t work out. They still made eyelets. So I’d to start over again. This time I used lifted increases and the shoulders are looking so much better!
2018-08-28: Finished shoulders and started sleeve increases.
2018-08-30: Finished sleeve increases and separated body and sleeves. Continued on the body.
2018-09-05: Taking a break from the body and started on the right sleeve.
2018-09-07: Sleeve is slightly too tight so had to unravel and start over, picking up a couple of stitches on each side of the under-arm CO.
2018-09-10: Finished the right sleeve and startd on the left.
2018-09-12: Finished left sleeve and started on body again.
2018-09-23: Finally finished the body so I can start on the i-cord BO! (Though that will probably also feel like it takes forever )
2018-09-25: Finished the bindoff of the body. Decided I wanted the sleeves to also end with a few rows just in Cereza - and also that the could be a little longer - so had unpicked the BOs, added extra rows and bound off again.
2018-09-26: I’m not satisfied with the look of the body at the bottom. I think it would look better without the last ten or so increases. Will sleep on it and decide tomorrow if I’ll unravel and start over.
2018-09-27: Unravelled last couple of decimeters on body and started over.
2018-12-06: I can see the end!! Have just knitted up all the Carnival and started on the Cereza-only rows.
2018-12-09: Finished the body and started on the i-cord BO.
2018-12-10: FINALLY FINISHED!!
