Used 3.5mm needles for the i-cord CO & BO and 3.25 for the rest.

Used backward loop increase instead of kfb/pfb.

Mods

• Section 1 used all contrast colours and knit each honeycomb repeat in one colour instead of striped,
• Section 2 on the startup row filled in the holes with CC3 using the method described in this project,
• Section 5 don’t like the look of the very elongated turn stitches so I’m using German shortrows,
• Section 6 on first r used backward loop increase instead of YO, knit MC stripes in garter and CC in stockinet, didn’t bother placing markers between the pattern repeats, rearranged the colour sequence and knit one more stripe with CC1.

2023-08-08: Finished Section 1.
2023-08-12: Finished Section 2.
2023-08-19: Finished Section 3.
2023-08-24: Finished Section 4.
2023-08-25: Finished Section 5.
2023-09-05: Finished first half of Section 6. (This section is taking forever!)
2023-09-22: The yarn I ordered when I knew I wouldn’t be content with only making half of Section 6 and so would run out of CC1 finally arrived!
2023-09-30: Finally finished Section 6.
2023-10-12: Haven’t worked very diligently on this the last couple of weeks (BOs are so boooring ) but now it’s finally finished!!
