ETA 7 Aug 2020: This is beautiful shawl but the extremely long “tail” makes it almost impossible to wear so I’ve just frogged it and will make something else with this very nice yarn.

First time knitting brioche from a chart.

Mods

• instead of pattern’s selvage I’m knitting first and last st on RS and lifting them with yarn in front on WS,
• continuing the selvage st on the lace portion but adding a YO in each side on every other r and dropping them on the next to make the edge more elastic.
