Cables from Echoes from Karelia instead of broken rib

Knit cuff & Chart A with 2.5mm needles, the rest with 2.25

Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• cuff 12 r twisted rib with MC,
• leg Chart A r 1-45 with CC1 & CC2 + 1 r with MC + Cable Chart C/D with MC setup r & r 1-6 twice,
• heelflap 32 r stockinet decreasing 2 st on r 2 & 12, round heel,
• gussets picked up 19 st on each side and moved 2 st on each side from instep to sole, decreased ever y second r until 32 st left on sole (disregarding arch shaping),
• arch shaping started on tenth r from heel turn decreasing the sixth st from the centre on each side every sixth r three times and then increased in the same way three times,
• instep Cable Chart C/D r 1-6 seven times + Chart A r 13-20 + r 1-13 + r 26-33 with CC1 & CC2 + 2 r with MC,
• toe with MC decreased every second r until 28 st left then every r until 8 left,
• mirrored second sock.
