Using Grumperina's method for cabling without a cable needle.

Mods

• cast on 68 stitches,
• cuff 12 r k2p2 adapted to pattern sequence,
• leg front k5 + k12 from chart + k17 & back k34, knit chart r 1-20 three times, decreased 2 st on the back of the leg on r 70,
• heelflap 36 r stockinet decreasing 2 st on the first r, slipped first and last st on all WS r, round heel,
• picked up 20 st on each side for gussets + moved 2 st on each side from instep, decreased every third r until 30 st left on sole,
• foot chart r 1-20 three times + r 1-18,
• toe decreased every third r until 32 st left then every r until 8 left, cut yarn and pulled through,
• mirrored everything including the cable crossings on the second sock.
