I made this for the second round of the fandom craft challenge at imadeathing

I knitted it in the round since I realised that having to knit four identical pieces one after another would in all likelyhood end up with me giving up halfway through. And since it was going to be stuffed it didn’t matter how long the floaters on the back got so I did ordinary colourwork, not intarsia.

As a final touch I printed out the telephone sign and the St’ Johns Ambulance logo on plan paper, laminated them and glued them to the side I’d decided was the front. I used short pieces of a black leather cord for the frame of the sign, and embroidered a lock with silver metalic yarn.
