I did this scarf in stockinette stitch instead of garter because I like the look more. In the beginning I noticed the lower edge was puckering a lot because I am a pretty tight knitter, so I tried to loosen up my stitches because of the increases on every row.

I did a few rows of garter before I cast off to make it look a little more uniform with the edges since I didn’t do the whole thing in garter like the pattern called for.

It is the quasi-cowl look I really wanted, with a pattern that actually was terribly simple!
