Very simple middle - k1fb on first stitch of every row, knit in garter stitch until two balls of the lighter green are used up, then k1 k2tog first 3 stitches of every row until next two balls are used up. I’ll improvise an edging when I get there.
The yarn is wonderfully supple and will drape really well around a baby, but is a bit of a bother to knit as it really wants to split - many loose plies of bamboo that don’t want to stick together in a cohesive strand.
Finished and blocked - with a soak in some mild soap and a rinse and then spun out in the washer and tossed into the dryer with some lightweight clothes. It came out drapey and so soft - will be a wonderful summer blanket for some babe.
