Notes

This one is called Forever in the Forest because I believe it is going to take forever. Why I decided to try entrelac for the first time with a delicate lace pattern, I’m not sure. I started it in September of 2005 on a 25th wedding anniversary trip and actually lost the project so had to start all over again. Fortunately I was only a few inches into it. It takes concentration, and I do a lot of my knitting in situations where concentration isn’t an option, so it gets picked up only rarely.

March 2008 - a bit of a lace knitting bug hit and I’ve actually completed two units! How long will this spree last?

June 2013 - since I started knitting this, I discovered lace needles with pointy tips. Wow, that makes a difference!

And May 2014 - a mere 8 years, 9 months later, just wove the last end in.
