Made from some delightfully rustic yarn purchased in Nara, Japan. While visiting Nara with our son, I found a woman at a spinning wheel in one of the shops. She had a small amount of yarn that she had spun from sheep she raises on a small farm nearby in Yamazoe. I cast on the next day to finish a hat for Allen before we left Japan -- had to keep it local!
