August 2012 ~ entered in the Evergreen State Fair and won a blue ribbon and a Merit Award…which is big because when I reblocked this for the fair, I discovered 3 huge, huge snags from wearing it this past winter and I mended them with leftover yarn & entered it just to see if my fixes were discovered…they were not! ha :)
2011 entry in the Skagit County Fair - won 1st place blue ribbon, Best in Class and Best in Show -yeehaw ;) ____________________________________________ another great kal with some good friends to start the new year has finally come to an end ~ you can look back at our fun, and photos of all of our shawls on our blog Girls in Sheep Clothing~ keep us in mind for January 1st 2012 if you’d like to join us for our next one ;) ~ click here for names of each days lace pattern ____________________________________________ blocked measurements 83” long & 15 1/4 ” wide (and I skipped day 23 since I was short on yarn!) ~ thanks again, Lucy, for my ‘birthday club’ yarn ;)
