This is essentially a “summery” version of this, hem and neck identical.

One of the things I love about Ann’s books is that I can play around to get the fabric I like, then pick a size in the gauge that works. Many times, this means a size that is not my normal….as in this case. So I chose a size 44, with gauge of 6 spi, to get a blocked chest of 42” this gives me 4-5” of ease.

However in doing this, I also modify the raglan increases. Meaning I do less, because I don’t want the armscyle to be too deep. Mine blocked is 8-3/4”, which is plenty deep.

The other mod is to add length….from arm hole to hem, blocked 17-1/2”

Yarn - I prefer this yarn at a bit of a tighter gauge, seems to hold shape a bit better. Wonderful to wear and no problems working with it. Forgged this to reuse yarn in a simple (less wide in the neck) style.
