Pattern is gorgeous. Do not let the seaming deter you. I don’t mind seaming, but this was not a big deal…..at.all. In fact, the seams give the linen structure, and adds to the classic shape of this cardigan.

Only mod was to add 1-1/2” to length to the body, and 1/2” to the sleeves. (Adding length is a typical thing for me…I’m 5’9”, with long limbs..and a preference towards longer tops.)

As a sidenote, I counted the rows worked on the back to ensure my fronts were the same length. I didn’t trust my measuring, and preblocking, the pieces really did the stst roll.

Yarn - love It. I threw the swatches in the dryer for about 10 min (gauge will change, so test on swatch) and oh my goodness, what a difference in the fabric. After the dryer, the fabric had amazing drape, and was so soft to the touch. Love!

Quince has an informative blog post about swatching with linen, along with a few tips on what to expect when blocking linen. It is worth getting an extra skein to ensure you get the fabric that you want. I also knit the sleeves first, and blocked them, just to double check my gauge.

My purls are looser than my knits, so to keep from rowing out, I used US#5 for knit, US#4 for purls.
