The pattern is more of a recipe, so I hope I can get it to work. The second pair may need to be tweaked.

I take it back, the pattern is actually pretty good. I didn’t like the thought of so much garter stitch in my shoes, so I am doing straight stockinette with a slip-stitch edge. So far it’s looking pretty good!

I decreased the toe every other row until I had 48 sts, then every row until I had 24. I’ll knit the second sock the same way, but I think the next pair will need one more inch before the increase rows.

11 rows between decreases and increases worked perfectly! Love them! I’m hoping a little washy-wash will fix the tiny one just enough.
