I’m not sure this yarn was such a great idea. I can’t tell if it’s going to give me the definition this pattern really needs. I only have one leaf on each edge done, though, so another leaf will tell.

Many leaves in and it’s looking pretty flippin’ awesome!

Knit 72 grams increasing. Will knit 66 56 grams even, then 72 grams decreasing.

Either my math isn’t very good (most likely) or I have some slightly overweight skeins. I should have 6 full leaves on the left-hand side at the end of the straightaway, I guess. It’s gotta be my math. I’ll use 28 grams of the third skein on the straight part and then start decreasing. I’ve only knit three leaves in 10 months? :(

I’m not sure why I didn’t note this, but instead of knitting the garter tab at the very beginning, I started with a leaf (you can see in the last picture). I don’t remember exactly how I did this, but I believe I cast on nine stitches and started knitting at row 19 of the set-up.

ALL DONE! I had enough yarn left over to make a couple tassels. :)
