The promised Christmas sweater, take two…three years late….I think she’ll look great in white. We are dark ladies and look good in white. I’m totally guessing at her size. I think she’s about the same size as my other (unrelated) aunt. Hope it fits! If not…I’ll frog it and re-knit it. FOR MYSELF! Only kidding. For her. :) People go on and on about this company’s yarn. It better live up to its reputation because it doesn’t feel that great in its skein.

The yarn is fine. I don’t know why people are crazy about it. It’s pretty standard. It’s what yarn should be. Maybe that’s why people like it so much. :) I began the sleeves. In an effort to get it done and prove to myself that my Magic Loop failings are mental, not technical, I’m doing two at a time Magic Loop. It’s not too bad, but I’m only 5 rows in or so. Per others’ notes, I will not decrease the sleeves much if at all. I haven’t decided if I should lengthen or shorten them, though.

I lengthened the sleeves to about 18” and didn’t decrease until the ribbing. I think I decreased 8 sts there, but I don’t recall for certain.

I had to block the CRAP out of this thing to get it to the right dimensions. I’m not sure the sleeves will comply, but the rest looks AWESOME! I think it also grew about an inch and a half….

Didn’t fit. Passed on to my cousin. If she’ll wear it, I’ll be happy.
